Notes

Tulliby Lake and Onion Lake, north of the North Saskatchewan River, were first travelled by Cree peoples using established trail networks for hunting and trade. After 1905, homesteaders settled the area, expanding these trails into wagon routes that connected farms, churches, and small service centres. School districts-past and present: Acomb, Norway Valley, North Park, Greenvale, Canyon View, St. Margaret, Onion Lake, Tulliby Lake, and Tulliby Lake Central.

This community history highlights both the Indigenous peoples and the settlers who established and shaped the region in the early 1900s to 1985.
