After being hired to work in a used bookstore, I quickly discovered a passion not just for books but the book trade itself.

When the store was sold I found myself without an outlet to pursue my chosen profession. So, I decided to create Heart of Gold Books - a simple online-only book store where you can browse, shop, and have your selections delivered right to your door.

At Heart of Gold Books we curate and distribute a unique selection of old cookbooks and Canadian prairie history. Of course, as often happens in the bookselling world, we come across some intriguing items that don't exactly fit into our primary collections and these items can be found in Miscellany.
