Volume 1, Issue 1, thru Volume 77, Issue 4, of the Saskatchewan nature quarterly. Complete - all issues present [1942 - 2019].

Volumes One thru Five [1942-1947] gathered into a single volume, bound in textured paper and cloth covered boards, various paginations. Issue One, of Volume Six [Oct. Nov. Dec. 1947] gathered into this binding. All issues printed on one side of the leaf (recto only), produced using a mimeograph machine.

Volumes Six thru Eight [1948 - 1950] gathered into a single volume, bound in textured paper and cloth covered boards, various paginations. Volume Six, Issue Three and Four, was a double issue and the last issue published by the Yorkton Natural History Society. Volume Seven, Issue One, of Blue Jay begins publication in Regina by the Saskatchewan Natural History Society, under the editorship of Lloyd T. Carmichael. This issue is also the last to be printed on the recto leaf only. Volume Seven, Issue Two begins the printing of both sides of the leaf (recto - verso).

Volumes Nine thru Eleven [1951 - 1953] gathered into a single volume, bound in textured paper and cloth covered boards, various paginations. The first digest sized [13x21 cm] issues , with B&W illustrations and photographs, printed on a lithographic press.

Volumes Twelve thru Fourteen [1954 - 1956] gathered into a single volume, bound in textured paper and cloth covered boards, various paginations.

Volumes Fifteen thru Seventeen [1957-1959] gathered into a single volume, bound in cloth cover boards, various paginations.

Volumes Eighteen thru Twenty [1960-1962] gathered into a single volume, bound in cloth covered boards, various paginations. Includes "The Blue Jay Index 1942 -1960', by Joyce Deutscher.

Volumes Twenty-One thru Twenty-Three [1963 - 1965] gathered into a single volume, bound in cloth cover boards, various paginations.

Volumes Twenty-Four thru Twenty-Six [1966 - 1968] gathered into a single volume, bound in cloth cover boards, various paginations.

Volumes Twenty-Seven thru Twenty-Nine [1969 - 1971] gathered into a single volume, bound in cloth cover boards, various paginations.

Notes

The Blue Jay began publication under the editorship of Isabel M. Priestly in 1942 [Vol. 1, No. 1, Oct-Nov.-Dec.], as "The official organ of the Yorkton Natural History Society", with the objective -"To foster an active interest in all branches of nature study and to promote the conservation of all wild life; also to act as a connecting link between nature lovers in Saskatchewan." A total of one hundred and twenty-five copies of the first issue were printed.
