Notes

This culinary volume is associated with the noted French artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, who was also an accomplished and enthusiastic cook. It gathers recipes he devised himself, along with others collected from skilled cooks within his circle of friends and acquaintances. The recipes are presented substantially in their original form, with only minimal editorial notes added to assist the modern cook.
