This volume documents ten iron sculptures by Saskatchewan artist Don Wilkins, installed at sites along Saskatchewan Highway 11, the Louis Riel Trail. The sculptures depict figures associated with Métis life and history on the plains during the period 1850–1895. Each work is illustrated and accompanied by commentary explaining the figure represented and its significance within Métis history and culture.
