Our Heritage : Era Of South And East Of Saskatoon

A community history of the south and east districts of Saskatoon, this volume documents the settlement and development of the Floral–Patience Lake region of Saskatchewan. The area covered includes lands within the Rural Municipality of Corman Park and the Rural Municipality of Blucher. The book contains individual essays on the region’s school districts, including Bainsville, Brookland, Evansville, Floral, Furdale, Grasswood, Lone Star, Melness, Olicana, Patience Lake, South Corman Park, Summerfield, and Victor. The volume is largely built from personal memories contributed by local residents and is complemented by an extensive section of family histories.
