Notes

A daughter’s tribute to her mother, Margaret Wooding (1910–1974), combining a brief biographical record with a collection of family recipes. Wooding was a wife, mother and schoolteacher who lived, raised her family and taught for many years in Redcliff, Alberta, where a school was later named in her honour. The opening essays recount aspects of her life, followed by recipes for a variety of dishes, including favourites from Margaret’s own kitchen and traditional recipes passed down through other members of the family.
