Regina, The First 100 Years : Regina's Cornerstones The History of Regina Told Through Its Buildings and Monuments

Written by an artist/historian, a journalist, and a businessperson, this volume explores Regina's history (Saskatchewan's provincial capital) through its buildings and monuments. Organized by type (churches, railway stations, arenas, etc.), each building's entry includes an address, a line drawing, and a brief history of its design, use, and occupants/owners. These entries combine to form a picture of Regina's history from its incorporation in 1883 into the early 2000s. The volume also includes a historical overview of Regina, short biographies of its mayors and major figures, and a lengthy index.
