This 13.5 x 21 cm (5 x 8 in) volume contains full-page photos accompanied by text detailing Hanna, Alberta’s history from 1912 to 1987. The authors describe Hanna’s settlement, the subsequent creation of infrastructure, and the development of community services. The book also offers brief histories of local churches, schools, clubs, and sports and leisure programs. Shorter historical summaries of surrounding villages and hamlets appear at the end. Throughout, large photos support the text and depict Hanna’s evolution.
