The first addresses mineral development, including the Mandy Mine and the operations of Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Co. Limited, with reference to associated businesses and individuals active in the industry. The second examines local institutions, including municipal administration, civic government, provincial political activity, legal and protective services, schools, postal and media services, and air transport. The final section surveys social, ethnic, and service organizations, as well as churches, recreation, and the arts.
