Ernest Lindner (1897-1988) born in Vienna, Austria immigrated to Canada in 1926. Taking up residence in Saskatoon, where became a leader in the local art community.
This thin catalogue from Regina's Norman Mackenzie Art Gallery includes a brief statement from critic Clement Greenburg, a biographical sketch, and a list of the thirty four paintings displayed at the exhibition.
