Published in 2016 as a companion to Chronicles of Canwood and Districts, this volume continues the documentation of local history in the Rural Municipality of Canwood No. 494, Saskatchewan. Contents include chapters on the R.M. itself, the village of Canwood, Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation, local businesses, organizations, and churches. The volume also provides brief historical sketches of regional schools, including Canwood School, Balsamdale, Blue Heron, Boro Green, Dry Creek, Moonbeam, Moose Valley, Nestledown, Silent Call, Silver Cliff, Stump Lake, Sugar Hill, and Summit Prairie schools. Of particular note are comparative maps showing original homesteader land parcels and the current ownership as of September 2014. The volume includes a collection of family histories.
