Notes

Revised and enlarged edition of Bouvier’s legal dictionary, edited by Francis Rawle. Intended as both a dictionary and encyclopedic reference work, with expanded treatment of legal subjects, revised arrangement of titles, and extensive cross-referencing. Includes several hundred newly added or substantially revised topics, with particular attention to areas of law that had developed in the preceding fifteen years, together with more than four thousand additional legal words and titles.

Notes adapted from the Preface prepared by Francis Rawle.
