“Co-op News” was a monthly publication organ of the Northern Alberta Dairy Pool, Alberta Livestock Co-operative, and Alberta Co-operative Wholesale Association (the ACWA’s President, J. Russell Love, served as the paper’s editor). Alongside advertisements and editorials, each organization received its own section of the paper to print meeting minutes or articles of interest. This issue includes the Dairy Pool’s annual meeting summary, the Livestock Co-operative’s advice regarding breeding and diseases, and ACWA announcements of new store openings and amalgamations. Many advertisements regarding civilian support for Canada’s World War II effort also appear.
