In addition to printing catalogues, the T. Eaton Company (Eaton’s) published monthly regional internal newsletters. These newsletters promoted the store’s contributions to civic projects, shared information about upcoming initiatives or staffing changes, and fostered camaraderie amongst employees. In Saskatchewan the newsletter was called “Prairie Breezes,” and contained news from stores in Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Regina, and Saskatoon. This issue features graduations/achievements by children of employees, short accounts of holiday trips taken by staff, and a description of an Eaton’s contract to furnish Toronto’s newly built Lord Simcoe Hotel.
