A community history of a small area in the lower east corner of the Rural Municipality of Kinistino No. 459. Originally homesteaded by Scandinavians it would eventually welcome a diverse range of settlers. Much of the book consists of family histories with small sections devoted to the North Star school district, early farm equipment, winter work projects, women at work, and businesses in Melfort.
