Wallace Stegner : His Life and Work

This account of American author Wallace Stegner's life combines readings of Stegner's texts with archival sources and interviews to elevate Stegner's literary influence from regional to international. Biographer Jackson Benson argues that the importance of Stegner's work matches that of authors like Ernest Hemingway and John Steinbeck (both of whom Benson has also written about).
