Notes

A memoir by a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police who joined the force in 1928 and trained at Depot Division in Regina. Following his initial posting to Prince Albert, Wilson worked on cases across the prairie provinces before transferring to Vancouver, where he served in the drug squad. During the Second World War he was employed as an intelligence officer.

In this volume, Wilson recounts his experiences in uniform and undercover, describing investigations, fieldwork, and the changing nature of police work between the interwar years and the 1940s.
