From Calgary’s Stampede Wrestling to the high-profile World Wrestling Federation, Hart offers a personal look into an ever-changing world of athleticism, promotion, spectacle, and high stakes. The book’s accounts of personal feuds, infidelity, drugs, and crime resulted in further Hart family drama when a series of lawsuits eventually caused “Under the Mat” to be pulled from publication.
