Notes

Developed by Saskatchewan’s Tourist Bureau, “Tourist Trips Through Saskatchewan” contains information to aid tourists driving between the province’s towns and cities. The book divides the province into 60 trip maps – for instance, Map 9 traces a route from Saskatoon to Lloydminster. For each trip, the authors provide a road map, a list of locations that one will pass through, and a summary of tourism services at each location (i.e. hotels, restaurants, points of interest). A “Saskatchewan Highways” map plots all 60 routes onto a map of the south and central portion of the province. The volume also contains sections on hunting, trapping, and fishing in Saskatchewan and a description of air travel options. Photographs of points of interest appear throughout. Includes index.
