Notes

Billed as a family history, this memoir is, at heart, the story of Al Siple himself—born in 1909 on a ranch south of Claresholm, Alberta. A true working man, Siple cowboyed, logged, guided, and joined threshing crews across Alberta and British Columbia, even taking part in the Bedaux Expedition. Later in life, he found Christian faith, eventually ministering in Calgary.
