Notes

One of the most devastating geological disasters in Canadian history, the Frank Slide occurred on April 29, 1903, when a massive section of Turtle Mountain collapsed into the Crowsnest Pass, overwhelming part of the town of Frank and causing heavy loss of life.

In The Frank Slide Story, Frank Anderson offers a narrative account of the catastrophe, examining its causes, human toll, and aftermath. This volume forms the first title in Anderson’s Frontier Book series.
