Notes

Published from 1948 until 2017, “Saskatchewan History” magazine showcased both scholarly and general interest work on diverse figures, groups, and events in the province’s past. As a publication of the Saskatchewan Archives Board, the magazine invited submissions from archivists, librarians, and academics. Issues may contain scholarly articles, book reviews, archival reports, and reminiscences. This volume includes material on the trials of Big Bear and Poundmaker following the North-West Resistance, Yorkton’s history in the late 1800s, and Premier James G. Gardiner’s memories of Saskatoon’s early growth.
