St. Hubert, a community south of Whitewood, Saskatchewan, has the distinction of being settled by French aristocracy. Although the exact date of their arrival is unknown (estimated to be in the mid-1880s), by 1914, they had all left. Rural Municipality of Silverwood No. 123
