Notes

Carl Rungius (1869 –1959) was a pioneering figure in North American wildlife art. Born in Germany, Rungius immigrated to the United States, where he built a career painting North American wildlife.
Rungius spent several summers painting in Alberta.
This exhibition catalogue accompanied a 1969 show presented by the Provincial Museum And Archives Of Alberta.
