This small booklet was a project put forth by the R.M. of Snipe Lake No. 259 to mark the 75th anniversary of Saskatchewan's entry into Confederation. Its intention was to show a social history of what life was like in and around the rural schools. Districts included: Acadia, Amdewanda, Betchel, Bickleigh, Bisley, Cascaden, Centerfield, Cromwell, Evans, Gravelridge, Guthrie, Isham, Kildare, Kirkray, Krafton, Lovedale, Montrose, Newburg, Penkill, Pioneer Grove, Plato, Prouse, Red Rock, Richlea, Snipe Lake, and Yellow Cactus.
