Notes

The Park Country: A History of Red Deer and District is a regional history of the Alberta community of Red Deer and the surrounding rural district. The narrative traces the area’s development from early settlement onward.

Throughout the work, Annie L. Gaetz intermittently weaves in reminiscences drawn from what she refers to as “Old Timers,” allowing firsthand recollections to supplement the historical account.
