Echoes of an Era is a regional history covering a broad area of west-central Saskatchewan. It includes the village of Paradise Hill and the hamlet of Frenchman Butte, along with the surrounding settlements and school districts of Bolney, Albion, White Eagle, North Bend, Big Hill, River Junction, Perch Lake, Tangleflags, Butte St. Pierre, Sylvan Hill, Meadow Dew, St. Albert, and Pyramid Hill. Much of the area falls within the boundaries of the Rural Municipality of Frenchman Butte No. 501. The book contains numerous historical essays on the region, as well as accounts of local institutions such as businesses, churches, health services, and sporting activities.
