Half-title page clipped. Binding shows rubbing and general shelfwear. Dust jacket is torn and edge-worn, with overall rubbing; a substantial portion of the spine panel is missing. Portions of the jacket have been poorly mended with cellophane tape.

Established in 1901, the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps functioned as a key administrative and transport unit within the Canadian Army. Its primary responsibilities included delivering essential support services such as the movement of troops and supplies, provisioning of equipment and materials, and operating mobile workshops and field kitchens to sustain military operations.

The RCASC was active during both World Wars and the Korean War.
